After decades as a criminal investigator and trainer I am pursuing my academic interests as a doctoral candidate at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto. 

My research focuses on statement law. My particular interest is the relationship between Canadian confessions jurisprudence and social scientific research on interrogations and confessions.
